This is friendly group which welcomes participation by its members. Knowledge of science is not necessary. The membership ranges from those who are just keen on learning about scientific topics to those who bring some special interest or experience.

Meetings take the form of talks, demonstrations or discussions embracing a very wide variety of subjects covering natural history, the physical sciences and technology. Most of the talks come from our own members.

The aim is always to make the presentations interesting and informative to those having no special knowledge of the subject.
